A Shih Tzu puppy has two things working against an ordinary bowl of food: a short, undershot jaw that can't grip a round biscuit cleanly, and a coat that will eventually reach the floor and starts demanding support long before it gets there.
The kibble is shaped for a brachycephalic mouth, which sounds like a detail until you've watched a puppy push food around the bowl and give up. EPA and DHA at 3 g/kg with borage oil support the skin the coat grows from, protein at 28% and fat at 18% cover growth, and betaglucans with prebiotics handle the immune and digestive side. She moves onto Shih Tzu Adult at eleven months.

Store in a cool, dry place, sealed. Use within six weeks of opening. Use a shallow, wide bowl she can reach into without pressing her face down. Start daily brushing and face-wiping now — a Shih Tzu's eyes water and the hair around them needs cleaning or it scalds the skin. Watch her breathing in the heat; flat-faced puppies overheat quickly and a hot car or a midday walk is genuinely dangerous.
