Protexin Pro-Kolin+ is a palatable probiotic and prebiotic paste formulated to help restore and maintain healthy gut function in dogs and cats. It contains beneficial microorganisms that replenish intestinal microflora, along with prebiotics to support their growth, helping to stabilise digestive balance. This product also contains kaolin to aid stool consistency and pectin to soothe the gut lining. Pro-Kolin+ is ideal for use during episodes of diarrhoea, digestive disturbances, dietary changes, stress, or following antibiotic therapy, promoting a quicker recovery and improved digestive health.
Dosing: 🛑 2 mL per 5 kg bodyweight, 2–3 times daily (max 10 mL twice daily for large adult dogs, 5 mL twice daily for adult cats) — this figure came from a secondary source, not Protexin's own primary copy; confirm against the actual syringe/box label before publishing a dosing chart. Give directly onto food via the graduated syringe (15/30/60 mL sizes), for as long as needed or as a vet advises.
Contains: Kaolin (binding agent); Preplex® prebiotic (fructo-oligosaccharide + acacia gum arabic); pectin (soothes the gut lining); Enterococcus faecium PXN 33 probiotic, 2×10⁸ CFU/g.
Dispensed via a graduated syringe straight onto food. If loose stools persist for more than a couple of days, or your dog or cat seems otherwise unwell, see a vet rather than continuing to dose at home.
