Sixteen inches, three horns, and a Dura-Scale of 8.
Shorter and chunkier than the Stegosaurus, with horns and a frill that give a dog several different things to grab. The same two-layer build and the same four rows of stitching.
How it's built: two layers — soft plush outside, non-woven fleece inside. The fleece is the working layer: it doesn't puncture easily and it moves with the jaw instead of tearing. Every seam is sewn four times over — two rows of cross stitching and two of linear — and vulnerable edges get a webbing trim.
One squeaker. Floats. Machine washable.
Dura-Scale 8. That's VIP Products' own durability number for this toy. They publish the figure but not the scale behind it — the widely repeated "1 is weakest, 10 is toughest" line is retailer copy, not the maker's. Use it to compare Mighty toys with each other, not as an absolute.
Size: 5.5 × 16.0 × 8.5 (inches)
VIP Products are unusually blunt about this, and we'd rather quote them than soften it: "There is no such thing as indestructible." And: "Don't allow your pet to play with any toy unsupervised." Their framing is that a Mighty toy is a play toy, not a chew toy — built for tug, shake and fetch, not for a dog to lie down and grind at. If she settles in to chew it, take it away and give her a proper chew instead. Trim loose threads as they appear, so she can't swallow them. If she reaches the white stuffed core, throw it away — that's VIP's own instruction, not a suggestion. Machine washable, air dry. No temperature or detergent guidance is published, so use a cool gentle cycle and don't tumble it.
