Sterilised, and now senior. Two things at once.
Past twelve, a sterilised cat is managing two things at the same time: the lower energy need that came with the op, and everything that comes with age. She moves less, her metabolism has shifted again, and her appetite is often smaller than it was.
This holds fat at 15% with an adapted calorie level so she doesn't gain, while an exclusive antioxidant complex — including lycopene from tomato at 6.5 mg/kg — together with omega-3 fatty acids at 10.9 g/kg supports cellular health as she ages. Phosphorus is held to 0.6% to support kidney function, which is the thing most likely to go in an older cat, and the mineral balance keeps looking after the urinary tract. Highly digestible proteins with psyllium and betaglucans keep digestion comfortable. For sterilised cats twelve years and over.

Store in a cool, dry place, sealed. Use within six weeks of opening. Senior cats often eat less simply because they smell less — warming her food slightly, or adding a little water, brings the aroma up and usually helps. Weigh her every month or two; unexplained loss in an older cat is worth a vet visit rather than a bigger bowl. Annual bloods from twelve are worth doing. Fresh water, always, and more bowls than you think she needs.
