A Persian kitten grows slowly. This is built for the wait.
Persians take longer to finish growing than most breeds — the coat isn't fully in until well past a year, and the frame keeps filling out behind it. A food built for a twelve-month growth window doesn't quite fit.
This one supports that longer stretch. Protein at 32% runs higher than the adult food's 30%, with fat matched at 22%, which is what a slow, sustained growth phase needs. Calcium at 1.2% and phosphorus at 1% support a skeleton that keeps lengthening past twelve months. DHA from fish oil supports brain and vision development, and an antioxidant complex backs natural defences that are still establishing. Highly digestible proteins and prebiotics look after a young digestive system. The kibble size and texture are adapted for a short jaw and emerging teeth — a Persian kitten has the same brachycephalic problem as the adult, on a smaller scale.
Dehydrated poultry protein, rice, animal fats, maize, vegetable protein isolate (L.I.P. — protein selected for its very high digestibility), hydrolysed animal proteins, vegetable fibres, beet pulp, yeasts and parts thereof, fish oil, soya oil, minerals, psyllium husks and seeds (0.5%), fructo-oligo-saccharides, hydrolysed yeast (source of manno-oligo-saccharides), yeast extracts (source of betaglucans), borage oil, marigold extract (source of lutein). Additives (per kg) — Nutritional additives: Vitamin A 32,000 IU · Vitamin D3 900 IU · Vitamin E 650 mg · E1 (Iron) 33 mg · E2 (Iodine) 3.4 mg · E4 (Copper) 10 mg · E5 (Manganese) 44 mg · E6 (Zinc) 128 mg · E8 (Selenium) 0.07 mg. Technological additives: Clinoptilolite of sedimentary origin 10 g. Preservatives. Antioxidants.
Store in a cool, dry place, sealed. Use within six weeks of opening. Use a shallow bowl from the start — she'll learn to eat comfortably rather than developing a scooping habit. Start brushing her daily while she's small and tolerant; a Persian who won't be brushed at two is a genuine problem. Keep her on kitten food to twelve months. Fresh water, always.

Keyed to age rather than weight. The drop at eleven months is deliberate — growth is slowing and the amount should follow. Split across three meals while she's small, then two. Fresh water, always.
