Moves swallowed fur through, rather than back up.
A hairball is swallowed fur that stopped moving. It sits in the stomach instead of passing through, and eventually comes back the way it went in — usually onto something you care about, usually at night.
The approach here is to keep things moving rather than to bind the hair up. The recipe stimulates intestinal transit and is built for high digestibility, so swallowed fur travels through and leaves in the litter tray instead. Fat is held low at 2.7% for a cat who shouldn't gain, and essential fatty acids supply steady daily energy. Clinoptilolite is included as a technological additive to support stool quality. Thin slices in gravy, which adds useful moisture — dehydration makes everything move more slowly, hair included. Feed alone or alongside the matching dry food.
Meat and animal derivatives, cereals, derivatives of vegetable origin, vegetable protein extracts, minerals, oils and fats, various sugars, yeasts.
Serve at room temperature. Cover and refrigerate leftovers and use within 24 hours. Keep brushing — the food handles what she's already swallowed, not what's still on her. If she's retching repeatedly without producing anything, or has gone off her food, see a vet: an impacted hairball is a genuine obstruction risk. Fresh water, always.
