Sterilising a kitten at six months puts her in an awkward spot: she still has half a year of growing to do, but her energy requirement has just dropped sharply. Feed her on ordinary kitten food and she'll put on fat during the exact months she's meant to be putting on frame.
This threads that. Protein is high at 34% to keep building muscle and support proper growth, while fat is held to 12% — considerably lower than standard kitten food — so the surplus doesn't become weight. A blend of antioxidants supports an immune system that's still developing, and prebiotics with highly digestible proteins look after a young digestive tract. Calcium at 1.2% and phosphorus at 1% support the skeleton through the rest of the growth phase. For kittens from six to twelve months, after sterilisation or neutering.

Looking after it
Store in a cool, dry place, sealed. Use within six weeks of opening. Switch her over as soon as she's recovered from the operation, not months later — the weight goes on faster than most people expect. Keep her on this until twelve months, then move to the adult Sterilised food. Play with her; a sterilised kitten who gets bored gets heavy. Fresh water, always.
