Seven is the age where a cat's nutritional needs quietly change and most owners carry on with the same bag. Kidneys start doing more work for less return, muscle gets harder to hold, and the immune system loses a step.
This is the food built around that. Sodium and phosphorus are held down deliberately — the single most useful thing you can do for ageing kidneys through food — while high-quality protein at 31.7% keeps lean muscle on a frame that would otherwise start losing it. Omega-6 with vitamin E works on a coat that's gone coarser, and antioxidants including vitamins C and E support flagging immunity. Everything is chosen to be easy to digest, because tolerance narrows with age. For cats aged seven and over.

Looking after it
Store in a cool, dry place, sealed. Use within six weeks of opening. Older cats drink less and dry food carries almost none — keep water in more than one place, and consider a wet pouch a day using the mixed-feeding rows below. Weight loss in a cat over seven is worth a vet visit rather than a bigger portion; it's often the first sign of thyroid or kidney trouble. Fresh water, always.
